Link Exchange Truly SUX!!!!

When initially attempting to obtain membership in Link Exchange I was told that they weren't interested in advertising R or X rated sites. I took this as gospel and backed off. I then found, without searching explicitly for this purpose, a number of sites with adult content that proudly displayed the LE banner.

I then contacted LE and was told that my site OBVIOUSLY contained prurient material. If I were to move this material into a less noticeable portion of my initial page, I'd qualify. I made reference to my R rated portion much less obvious and was able to take part in Link Exchange's advertising campaign.

Recently I noticed that my LE banner was, once again, empty. I finally found a missive from LE stating that they won't deal with my "type" of web page. Upon further investigation I found that there are certain new categories at LE. One of these categories deals with material that shouldn't be viewed by minors. I attempted, yet again, to gain membership by classifying my site thusly. I received another nice note putting forth the proposition that I was still not worthy. I then visited some of the sites I'd seen earlier that were far more explicit than mine. Still had that LE banner waving. When applying I also requested the LE newsletter. Even though they turned me down, they still sent the newsletter... (aren't they a REAL together organization?)

To end this rather brutal assault on the integrity of the Link Exchange... let me just close with a dare... If you can find any graphic on my page that displays more than you can see on HBO on a Sunday noontime... I'll eat my shorts...
